The Evening Circle is named in honor of Rita Chapman, who serves with her husband in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. They are teachers at the Kikongo Pastor's Institute, where Rita works with the spouses, preparing them to minister in partnership in a rural setting. She home schools two of their children, Timothy and Elaina. In addition, she teaches illiterate women to read and serves as an active member and counselor of the parish women's fellowship, where they are challenged to share Christ not only in kikongo, but in surrounding villages as well.
